Childhood dream..

One of my childhood dreams always was to own a good binoculars and explore the world I see daily. Last week after a lot of pondering and going through the reviews/videos I finally decided to settle for this one -Olympus 10x50mm dps 1 (through flipkart). for a rookie good enough for birds, nature and a bit of astronomy(moon craters). Though 5k was a bit high, felt that with its longer durability with good optics will last longer compared to other less cheaper ones.

13days of holidays...
Fun, masti, with cousins, many small toad trips. Summing up, this has been my best and memorable break from work in the past 4years of my life.
Graduating tomorrow and then back to work life from Monday.

ramblings

3 papers down. 1 more to go. prefinal practice exams. at this age neither i have motivation or patience to study for a 3hours exam. So end up studying either half effort or copying at exam hall.
Went out with my puttimari today. a nice beach side lunch [and walk] which i badly wanted after the exam. i strongly feel that she is my genuine soul mate, and is the right person to be my partner. She understands me very well, take cares of me and never hesitates to correct me and critize me when the necessity arises. I see her as my best friend raher than as my mate. i sometimes have these small fights with her but still at the end of the day we are bff [best friends forever]. think we a r emdae for each other :D.

No coffee

Past my bedtime most of the times i make sure that I don't have any beverages. Having it totally ruins the sleep which ends up me being awake on the bed crawling, staring at the walls and go to bathroom umpteen times to clear my bladder(really hate getting up). Today being a pre-christmas night, we went out for a ride at 12 night and had coffee at the 24 hours beach restaurant. It was fun as usual but now am paying the prize. Staring at the walls, getting up, fbing and writing this post at 3am.

few more weeks to go....

taking 1st calls in final year is really pissing me off. U see shit cases [silly in fact] all day and get calls at midnight from other departments for references etc. Am doing this from past 3 years [almost] and frankly now i don't have the same patience and enthusiasm as i had in my first two years of resident-ship. Luckily this will be my last month of emergency calls and that's it, am done with my M.D here after 2 months of regular attendance. Hopefully i sail through the exams smoothly [2 candidates this time]. After that an year or so of senior residency here may be and will move on to next phase of my life. Phase where job responsibility will be more and personal goals are given more importance.

Lazy sunday...

Lazy weekend....
Got up at 10.
being in final has its own luxury. Less of work(and duties) and hardly they expect you to attend Sunday rounds.
Had a nice cup of coffee now with some good music. Happen to stumble upon tommy and tuppance episodes (YouTube) recently when trying to dig into the poirot episodes online. They are quite engaging and you will love it if u have read the books.
Finishing this will have my brunch, get a small nap and study a little bit.
my good weekend will end here and again tomorrow it will be a new working week with opds to attend and same old seminars and casualty duties.
Hmm....this episode looks interesting and I must finish it. Bye for now.

Wishes

Belated diwali wishes to everyone....this time I got to spend it with my family(parents and friends).
Thoroughly enjoyed it and was really quite memorable.

Ramblings....

Its been 15 days post my thesis submission and still am not buried in my studies as expected. I come home, relax, watch a movie and hit the bed to get up early next day for jogging. I have been really enjoying my days now. Guess now its time for me to plan up and get busy. No more lazy days, movies and facebooking.
I really think I should start reading some novels/books. Old days of book reading which I really used to enjoy should be brought back (atleast my kindle eBook will be worth its penny).
more watches and pens. My collections are pretty 'awesome' now. May be for the time being am little satisfied and my grabby behavior has lessened a bit (p.s-you are always welcome to gift me tag heurer watch or a waterman pen :D)
planning to spend this diwali with my parents. Both my brothers are staying away  and I feel parents are missing us. Hope to spend a day or two with them and try some crackers this time (who cares about air pollution).
Miss my old friends and foes. hardly get any time for them and these days its just whats upp and Fb chatting which keeps us in touch.

Each of these were either gifted or borrowed from my loved ones. A raft of good memories associated with them which I value a lot.

My dream is to go like these to the opd once.wonder what those patients will think of me.

Dasara...

Once again dasara.
That time of the year where marathon Pooja sessions are held at home (ancestral).days when u spend ur holidays at your home town, making merry and having good food with your cousins.
I miss all of them now.
staying in the city doesn't give you all these luxuries. You get only one day holiday and rest of the days you spend working. That festive mood doesn't bite you and we end up spending that day off just like any other holiday.

Yeah!...

Tomorrow I will be the proud owner of a g shock....yeah baby!....my dream watch!.
Eagerly waiting for it!!!!
