Wishes

Belated diwali wishes to everyone....this time I got to spend it with my family(parents and friends).
Thoroughly enjoyed it and was really quite memorable.

Dasara...

Once again dasara.
That time of the year where marathon Pooja sessions are held at home (ancestral).days when u spend ur holidays at your home town, making merry and having good food with your cousins.
I miss all of them now.
staying in the city doesn't give you all these luxuries. You get only one day holiday and rest of the days you spend working. That festive mood doesn't bite you and we end up spending that day off just like any other holiday.

Miss home...

Festivals are the days when I miss my home the most..those leisure times,sweets and the  joyous atmosphere. Miss them all.

Happy teachers day...

Two teachers who really made an impact in my life  were my high school teachers...MSK(maths) and MMP(Hindi/my class teacher too).
Mmp is still in the same school guiding and teaching with same enthusiasm.
Msk just retired I guess after serving as school principal for a short term.

High school was the period when I really developed my self esteem and I realized my true potential thanks to these great ones.topping my class 10th board exams proved as a catalyst in me.
when I entered 11th I had a sense of self belief and confidence which I successfully carried to my 12th board exams.(topped both state theory and entrance).what ever am today and achieved I owe a part of it to these great teachers.

Raksha bandhan...

This day comes every year and I always miss having an own sister sibling.having being brought up in the circle of male cousins/siblings I have hardly experinced this bondage with anyone apart from my cousins who used to tie the band.as time went on and not being my own siblings  this custom gradually faded away.
Fortunately in the recent few years I have met people who have filled in their shoes and I make sure they get my heart felt wishes every year. (Not to forget my dearest cousin sister staying in Brunei country).

P.s-
so for me I think Raksha bandhan is to be celebrated with my brothers.(any day for such a thing ?)

Amma's happipi

Recently on 15th august celebrated ammas birthday.this happens to be her first cake cutting....indeed a memorable day to cherish for all of us!...

maatre kalidu hoyithu...lost my tab in chennai...just reached chennai and went outside bus station and its gone.muche loot liyaa..3 ASSholes came in a bike and flicked it[snatched] from my hand and zoomed away..couldn't chase them....wht a pity...went to madras for a day and this happened....appana 'tag' ulskonde...'HAALGEDI'...

blog anniversary

happy blog anniversary....5th long years..hope to continue writing and maintain my enthusiasm for it.....

change in me...

these days i feel that i have changed a bit....u can see me listening to bakti slokas or go to a temple quite often...and dep inside frankly i feel sometimes that am getting older..this feeling comes especially whenever i meet some young kids[and cousins] and the way people talk to me...after joining PG people think[relatives] that am settled and no more a young chap who used to be a student...and now having crossed 25 years of age i feel that one whole part of my life ie youth is almost over and have stepped in to the 2nd phase of my life...my only fear is whether i will be able to stay young and feel it as years pass by.....

my new neighbours here..parrots!..being an animal lover this is a treat to me..

Nostalgic

Some old memories stay forever....this bear bought by my dad when I was around a year old...and I still cherish it...

BEwada

an obese man brought to casualty with unconscious state at morning 9am.....known case of TB already on catg 1 ATT....i was called immediately [yeah tb anywhere...even hairs..we are called first :O]....vitals were stable[spo2,bp] so i referred to medicine after ruling out hypoxic encephalopathy........med team tk CT immediately which was normal and we concluded it must be a OSA case with CO2 narcosis.....everyone [med and me] eagerly scratching their brain fr the diagnosis and putting up various DDs for this...when ABG turned out to be normal we were clueless..............

it turned out to be a simple case of alcohol intoxication.......he had boozed previous night nicely[this history was hidden by the attender till then]

BEWEDA SAALA...HAMARA JEENA HARAAM KAR DIYA.......!!

There are some things money cant buy...one of such thing is our childhood...enjoy the spirit of childrens day...HAPPY CHILDRENS DAY.

miracles do happen...

a guy who was pushed off a train to brought to casualty with both his legs cut into 2 pieces[leg pieces in a plastic bag]...

me[as CMO] to ortho resident-i think he is dead bro!

ortho resident-he is breathing asshole...common boys its time save him!!

miraculously he is resuscitated and brought back to life  with fluids etc by the ortho and casualty team!!


this what gives me more happiness...not some OBAMA winning some damn election somewhere....CHANGE wont happen to us right?

now tht obama wins..every tom dick and harry sitting in their office here wants to fbook it...wht crap!!

Cyclone nilam...

Oh yeah!..she is crossing pondic enroute to andra today evening but am ready to face it....chips,tea,chocholates etc are ready and am gonna enjoy my evening with these and good music....common baby!....

Heart attack...

Myocardial Infarction[MI] or in plain english heart attack kills people....in just a 6 hours shift yesterday i came across 4 such situations..all of them referred from private physicians...unfortunately these poor people keep roaming from one practitioner to another with no treatment and finally end up here losing that precious 3 hour window period where any medical intervention perhaps will save his life.....

p.s-

am more worried about these atypical presentations[unusual symptoms] of MI...like this one guy yesterday who came with an upper abdominal pain and when i did a fresh Ecg[high suspicion coz of age and associated diabetes] turned out to be angina.....this patient could have been easily neglected as a case of gastritis and put on wrong drugs...
