yesterday 17 of us went to watch the newly released bond movie "Quantum of Solace"....after much hype[from rediff!] and publicity we had really good expectations from the movie..but after watching i realized its a just an ordinary overhyped action[??] movie...really disappointed with the story line[half of which we couldnt follow] and also the action sequences weren't that great[which reminds u of Bourne series]....
only plus point in the movie was the theme song which i liked it!!
really miss those old bond movies especially "die another Day"...:(

Ummm...I just got home from the movies...I watched Quantum of Solace with the IT Guy...and we love it!
When you said you couldn't follow the story...I'm wondering if you saw Casino Royale...bec the turn of events in the movie is highly related to that first movie with Craig as J. Bond.
To be honest, I'd say the movie is more in touch with reality than the other Bond movies I watched...and the cell and network is more attune to the modern times...plus it showcase how gov't in S. America really works (with pun intended)!
The Bourne series is not that great compared to the book...but it did give a realistic approach to how espionage works!
Maybe we need to watch it together...so I can tell you what guns they're using and how to use it...maybe that would make it more interesting...? ;)

One of the worst Bond movie ever, It sucked big time!
i didn't ven like the theme song...madonna's song was a classic and way better!
