Wishes

Belated diwali wishes to everyone....this time I got to spend it with my family(parents and friends).
Thoroughly enjoyed it and was really quite memorable.

Ramblings....

Its been 15 days post my thesis submission and still am not buried in my studies as expected. I come home, relax, watch a movie and hit the bed to get up early next day for jogging. I have been really enjoying my days now. Guess now its time for me to plan up and get busy. No more lazy days, movies and facebooking.
I really think I should start reading some novels/books. Old days of book reading which I really used to enjoy should be brought back (atleast my kindle eBook will be worth its penny).
more watches and pens. My collections are pretty 'awesome' now. May be for the time being am little satisfied and my grabby behavior has lessened a bit (p.s-you are always welcome to gift me tag heurer watch or a waterman pen :D)
planning to spend this diwali with my parents. Both my brothers are staying away  and I feel parents are missing us. Hope to spend a day or two with them and try some crackers this time (who cares about air pollution).
Miss my old friends and foes. hardly get any time for them and these days its just whats upp and Fb chatting which keeps us in touch.

Dasara...

Once again dasara.
That time of the year where marathon Pooja sessions are held at home (ancestral).days when u spend ur holidays at your home town, making merry and having good food with your cousins.
I miss all of them now.
staying in the city doesn't give you all these luxuries. You get only one day holiday and rest of the days you spend working. That festive mood doesn't bite you and we end up spending that day off just like any other holiday.

Miss home...

Festivals are the days when I miss my home the most..those leisure times,sweets and the  joyous atmosphere. Miss them all.

amma's chakli...

tomorrow is ganesha chaturthi and i miss amma's trademark chakli....yummy!!...those were the days where we used to get unlimited chakli on this festive occasion and next morning most of the times end up with a bad stomach ache.

MISS those days....:(

6 duties in 11 days....time to celebrate Diwali with poor[and idiotic] patients/irritating sisters.......:(

Today....

DUTY...and till now no calls [not a good sign]....may be people r too busy celebrating the festivals or CMO here is least bothered to call for a single case and is piling up the cases for me to attend in the night.

Day 2 of SPANDAN...yearly fest organised here....lots of good people around in campus today:P...todays event is a dance show and am planning to attend it....

Miss my home and the food amma prepares for the festivals.....

will be a rich man as am getting my stipend:D

scared actually these days of Tb...being posted in OPD now..am supposed to look after these tb cases admitted under our care in a nearby govn hospital....daily rounds and these people shamelessly coughing at ur face is so disgusting...pretty sure that am already infected...hope i dont get the disease....

anniversary-2nd

this day that year...16th dec 2007 was when i started blogging and have been happily continuing doing so till today...best part about this is that its a hobby which i like doing and coz of this have been able to connect with some really wonderful people[and writers] whom i didnt even know and cared to spend their time reading my blog and pen down their opinion.
A big thank u for all those who made me to continue this till today[with their feedbacks and comments] and also those who care to read it [and dont comment].

p.s-
as they say "a writer is, after all, only half his book. The other half is the reader and from the reader the writer learns"-feedbacks/-ve and +ve suggestions are most welcome..and request each and every reader to do so:)

This year i finally made it to the flag hoisting ceremony at our college campus...this was my first time there[and the last] and after going there i realised that am doing it[singing my national anthem and witnessing a flag hoisiting] after 8 long years[last being when i was in 9th] which made me very nostalgic and in fact little patriotic!!...

1-have taken the snaps which am putting in my private picture blog.

2-everytime i come across our nat anthem i make it a point to standup[atleast try]..how many of u guys indeed do this??
