Eye of the tiger...

AN EPIC EFFORT:Sachin Tendulkar, who delighted with bold brush strokes of genius on the canvas — the colours celebrating batsmanship, showed he still is an explosive athlete; he still has the eye of the tiger.

butter fingers

When i was in school and playing cricket i was a terrible fielder and known for throwing easy catches away..i still remember my bros[especially my twin] shouting their ass off @ me for leaving those silly catches...guess tht trait has continued till today....
curent situation-
on sat while on duty had to conduct one delivery[due to some peculiar reason] and when was all ready to catch it[baby] and fraction of a sec after she delivered i find my hands totally empty...baby had just slipped and fallen into the bucket...[umbilical cord had prevented it from falling off completely]
p.s-
luckily baby was fine and nothing unexpected happened...:)

Does Michael Phelps have MSy??......

"My heart rate was accelerating and Bob suggested I see the doctor. Because I was very flexible and had long hands and feet. I had some early symptoms of Marfan Syndrome, a disease that affects connective tissues and can be fatal if there is leakage to the vessels that lead to the heart. If you reach out your arms and form a T and your wingspan is longer than your height, you can be at risk. In my case, those measurements have always been very close. I didn't know at the time why the doctor decided to look into this. My mom and Bob didn't want me to freak out, so they told me it was simply a good idea for young athletes to have an EKG test in order to look at the heart.Fortunately everything was, and still is, okay. I have been tested once a year ever since at John's Hopkins under the direction of Dr. Peter Roe and the tissues are strong, the aortic rout is clear and my heart is in good shape - as long as my Baltimore Ravens are winning."

Kapils Knock-25th anniversery

June 18 may not ring a bell but Kapil Dev’s unbeaten 175 surely does! Twenty-five years ago on this same date, the then Indian captain played a stunner that has become the stuff of legend over the years.
Kapil’s masterpiece breathed life into an innings that almost suffered the death-rattle at 17 for five against Zimbabwe at Tunbridge Wells in the Prudential World Cup. In a do-or-die match, Kapil’s knock helped India score 266 for eight in 60 overs and eventually defeat Zimbabwe by 31 runs. The victory eased India’s path to the semifinals and the rest is history
Lets salute such a great cricketer for this wonderful moment today!!!....

no 2 vs no 1 again!

good news for Nadal fans-
Triple champion Rafael Nadal demolished Novak Djokovic while Roger Federer struggled past Gael Monfils as the superpowers of men's tennis set up a third successive French Open final today.
Second seed Nadal eased to a 6-4 6-2 7-6 (7-3) win over world number three Djokovic in a match he described as 'perfect' to take his Roland Garros record to 27 wins in 27 matches.
The 22-year-old Spaniard is now just one victory away from equalling Bjorn Borg's feat as the only four-in-a-row winner of the men's title
lets hope he makes it..:)
