everyone will have quite a few nick names attached to them [and also pet names] and am no different...until now i have been called by abt half a dozen nick names and some of which are quite funny...here are some of those...
1) sanna-yeah sanna which means small [which is a misnomer now:D]....there is quite an interesting story for its origin...1)when we were born [myself and my TWIN bro] our total body weight was 3.6kg [1.6 + 2 kg] so according to IPA [indian paediatric association] we were in the LowbirthWeight(LBW)category [less than 2.5 kg is LBW]..and since [unluckily] i was thinner than him they started calling me sanna [which means small] and my twin bro dodda[ which means big]...this name exists even now and to be frank some of my relatives even today still think that my real name is sanna and not Pratap..:(...
2) chikka-really hate this name [sounds like a chicken]..this was kept by our neighbour and really used to hate her for calling me by this name.....
3) mule mansa [bony fellow]..this was kept by my cousin bro for the simple reason that he was able to count all the 12 ribs on my bare chest...
4) kaddi [a stick]..by my big bro who is very proud of himself for his so called physique and tries to show this by calling me by this name!!!!
so can u see that the real reason am thin is not me or my diet but the my birthweight and am just maintaining [with great difficulty and hard work :D] it .....

my mom and dad started calling me Ne-boo at a very young age.. my older sister still calls me Sissy... And due my rear end a lot of people call me Ghetto Booty! lol
So yes Nicks can stick with you a lifetime, now if I can loose my booty I will loose that name! LOL!!

yeah.. so many nick-names can get irritating at times.
Same with me, coz I dont have an official nick-name till now. thats why i can sympathize wid you.

at a point of time I was really thin and lanky - and was called suppandi by everone in college :)
