today i went to get my blood tested.....just wanted to do some basic tests like complete hemogram...these basic tests are really easy to do[since have done those myself at my uncles lab]..was surprised when i saw my bill..it was abt 400rs just for some 4-5 basic tests...
some rightly said medicine has really been commercialized these days and to be frank cant blame then also since they have to recover their investment!....

Well, everything is an investement...prevention is worth more than a cure they say...so, if those tests can help us stay healthy, so be it! LOL
My health insurance covers all lab tests...so I'm not caring how much they cost, yet, I hear people complain...so it must be costing them!

you know the high price is mainly because of the taxes our govt exercise on medical goods....
try gettin a CT or MRI in Bangalore....
what can those diagnostic centers do man....they hav to earn wat they've invested...
