Corn...


Fried corns known as Jola in Kannada are quite easily available [post summer]....
in every street in Malleshwaram u will get atleast one street vendor seeling these......they are quite tasty and cheap too!!!..

i like it raw , mixed in lemon juice and salt, pepper and butter... heat it in microwave for 3 minutes and the best Jola flavour ever... :D good breakfast BTW

took me back.. we would go to 4th block jayanagar every week to have the butta's. I lived in Bangalore for a couple of years!

Grew up eating this, they used to sell outside school. Corn along with those red berries, (which I have not seen in South India), and guavas.
