Cushings syndrome

yesterday we came across an interesting case[and a rare one too!] where the patients only chief complaint was excessive weight gain[abt 30-40kgs!!] in just 2 yrs...on investigation it was found out that he is having Cushing"s syndrome-an endocrine disorder caused by high levels of cortisol in the blood from a variety of causes[Wikipedia].....it was the first time we have come across this case and its usually seen in people taking excessive steroids[usually for relieving pain, asthma or after a transplantation]...luckily he hadn't developed any complications till now[such as the ones shown in the pic above] and hope that he gets well soon..:)
