had been to koramangala from malleshwaram on sunday and was surprised[and shocked!] by the way the autorickshaw meter kept on running and finally the amount showed by it was abt 120rs[normally its only abt 80-90rs!!]....these autorickshaw drivers manipulate it properly according to their convenience and coax us to pay such amounts..mo wonder people hate them[not all!]...

i hate i hate.. them! but not all.. there are good people too.
tell me abt fast meters i always land up fighting with these guys....infact the mind i sit in auto i tell em if yur meter is fast i aint gonna pay u extra its usually 60 bucks until home.....is that oke? n most times it works...

I am not so sure, most of these auto guys really struggle hard, this is no way to justify their tampering with meter.
But everytime I feel like this I start talking to them, and try to figure out. If looks genuine fine, if it does not you can call the Police helpline.

well, thankfully, i havent had too many such experiences. remember one such exp when i was coming to college from bowring, we gave 40, although the meter had read well above it. the guy did not argue!

But yeah, some of them cheat like hell...I've experienced this too...the meter kept striking at every 2 seconds...
