Falling sick in the last day of the year doesn't look good....had planned to celebrate this day by going with friends to the nearby beach or may be a nice dinner but now not sure...this ge (gastroenteritis) has bed ridden me since morning.... Hope to recover and able to enjoy my rest of the evening....happy new year guys..:)......
I like people who are sincere and professional in their work....having worked With so many sisters(in a govt setup) here have seen only few who are really dedicated and do their job effeciently.....sister here in my ward is one such kind....sincere, punctual and intelligent.....best part is her English..fluent, clear and bit stylish!...having got trained in CMC vellore I think she is one notch above her colleagues and have always made sure that she gets the appreciation.
On my to do list now.....
Pay mess bill before the operator catches my neck and kicks me out....
Take a small lic policy
Plan and start studying the subject
Buy a G shock watch or may be a swatch?...
And may be start jogging....:P....(really not sure about this ).
What happens when u combine dosa with pizza....u get DOZZA....French style maadri :P

These excess night shifts just kill my health...more duties means junk fd outside....have already kept one foot in preobese state.
Happen to clean my study desk today after a long long time.....being a pen enthusiast i found out tht i own 6 parkers,1 pelikan,2 hero pens and 1 sheaffer (but lamy and reynolds are missing).....i usually prefer fountain pens and even today i don't mind the task of frequent cleaning and refilling of my pens(reason why many don't prefer ink pens these days).

But inspite of this my hand writing has become bad to worse :-D...(many of my prescriptions come back from
Pharmacy )
Early morning beach side walk with nice Breaky with music...perfect pre duty leisure...one more duty left today.
One thing i have never regretted in my life is choosing this medical field.....becoming a doctor was always my childhood dream which am one today and am really proud of it:-)...not for the struggles to get here but for the simple fact that today i am what i really wanted to be (not many do that).....
Being in this field i feel the most satisfying part is doing clinicians job(though non clinicians like pathologist play an equally important role)......happiness on my patient's faces and the way they embrace u when they are cured is so magical.i love it when my patients come back and greet me with a smiling face.am typing all this sitting in the ward here coz like these patients here once upon a time i was in their shoes and a surgeon had taken very good care of me and i know how it feels when Ur cured and the concerned doctor takes good care.
P.s-
Best part is when my dad calls me for a medical suggestion.coz it's the only time i get to CONTROL him and dictate terms (the ball is in my court now dude!). :-D.
