UB

today doing our rounds we came across a patient[a admitted one] who along with a thigh fracture had sustained some injury to his urinary bladder due to which he had lost his urination reflex!...this patient had not voided from last 3 days and hence when examined by the professor his urinary bladder it was at the level of the umbilicus[normally not palpable ]!..when the prof asked the pg why hasn't he still put the catheter for artificial voiding he just told that he has been waiting for the bladder to get bigger to which the prof replied "how much bigger should it get??".
